I sincerely congratulate the staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the 26th anniversary of receiving the status of the university!

Today, our university is one of the most powerful structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and a modern educational and research center, which confidently occupies a leading position in the system of Ukrainian higher education.

Long-term traditions, an experienced team of talented scientists and teachers, doctors and candidates of science, professors and associate professors, modern material and technical base, the use of innovative technologies in the educational process, that is the key to effective training for our country.

During its existence, the university has trained more than 50 thousand highly qualified specialists; its graduates successfully work in the bodies and departments of internal affairs of Ukraine. The university is home for many police officers in our country. Here they gained quality knowledge, found loyal friends who help to make and implement important and responsible decisions in the field of law enforcement.

I am proud that I was directly involved in the training and education of cadets of the best police university in the country. I am grateful to the university scientists for their participation in law-making activities, development and examination of draft laws. A special atmosphere of creative search, professional communication, friendliness and respect was formed at the university.

I am sure that in the future your professional achievements will increase the glory of the university and law enforcement agencies of our state!
