Dear employees, cadets, students and listeners of the university!

On November 22, 2020, the University celebrates a memorable date - 26 years of its establishment as a higher educational institution. You can have different attitudes to this period. It is a lot of time but it is just the beginning. We all remember this birth. It was difficult, but so long-awaited and significant for the whole Ukraine. It was the first time when an educational institution of the university level was created in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Later on our model and experience Moscow University of Internal Affairs and St. Petersburg University of Internal Affairs in Russia, the University of Criminology in Moldova, the University of Law in Lithuania, and a number of higher educational institutions in Ukraine were established.

The main achievement of the University is the training of highly qualified police officers who work in different, most remote parts of our country, put into practice their knowledge and skills. They proudly carry the title of a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. These achievements are the achievements of the whole team. It is the scientific and pedagogical staff of the University; its leading link is the vital source of professional qualities of our cadets and students. You teach them, inspire them to succeed, support them, and inspire confidence in themselves, in their knowledge. It is you who make them professionals, people who are not indifferent to the plight of others, fair and courageous defenders of law and order in the state. I am very pleased to see our graduates among the teaching staff of the University. Doctors and candidates of science, prominent scientists, lawyers, judges and prosecutors, heads of units of the National Police of Ukraine develop legal science, develop theory and practice of human rights activities, ways to combat the latest manifestations of crime, take an active part in lawmaking.

Dear employees of the University! I am pleased to congratulate you on another universal date in the life of the University, to express my sincere gratitude for the fruitful work, as well as to wish inspiration and further achievements aimed at strengthening law and order for the benefit of the people of Ukraine.
