Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the basis of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 2 held an international scientific and methodological online conference "Actual problems of development of service-applied, traditional and oriental martial arts." The conference was attended by leading scientists and practitioners in the fields of martial arts, physical education of various groups and pedagogical sciences.

The scientific meeting was opened and greeted by the Head of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 2, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Oleksandr Morhunov.

The Secretary of the Conference, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 2 Honored Coach of Ukraine Oleksandr Khatsaiuk greeted the participants of the scientific forum and said: This meeting is a unique opportunity for specialists in the field of martial arts from different cities of Ukraine and abroad to come together and discuss current issues of development of service-applied, traditional and oriental martial arts. I am convinced that the professionalism, knowledge, experience and high human qualities of the conference participants, strong scientific, the educational and technological potential of the country provide all opportunities to effectively modernize the domestic law enforcement system and bring it to the highest European level. "

Taking into consideration restrictive quarantine measures, the conference was held using the Zoom video conferencing mode.
