August 20, 2015 Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited Monitor of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe of the Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine James N. Speros. 
In the frame of the working visit to Kharkiv the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko and the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Eka Zguladze attended Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The Government officials visited the training police station and forensic testing ground, where future police officers train their skills in specialized classrooms, the conditions of which are very close to real work. 
Project Manager of International Program for the training of criminal investigation agencies (ICITAP) of the Department of Justice of the USA Robert Peacock visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. He met with the leading staff of the University, got acquainted with the logistics of the educational establishment, visited the specialized classrooms, training police station, forensic testing ground, sports and training halls, library, museum, etc. 
Representatives of the Regional Department of the EU Advisory Mission Stanislav Bezovski, Pekka Hyuyutiaynen and Ondrej Vosatka visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The purpose of the visit – is to consolidate existing contacts established during previous meetings and discuss opportunities for communication projects. 
class="a">The meeting with representatives of OSCE was held at the special tactical training chair of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Police Units of Public Order and Criminal Police Dealing with Minors. Issues associated with public order, control and elimination of riots were being discussed. OSCE’s representatives represented the international experience of law enforcement agencies and answered numerous questions of administration of the faculty, officers of the chair and cadets of scientific circle of STT "Shield". 
Ceremonial events took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the occasion of graduation of cadets.
By Order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine special rank "Lieutenant of police" was given to 560 graduates of the University. 46 of them got diplomas with honors. Winners of All-Ukrainian and international scientific, creative
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was visited by delegation of Norwegian experts on legal reform. The delegation was composed of: Reidi Soderhren - senior advisor of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security of Norway, Peter Bauk - senior adviser of the Norwegian Agency of Development, Walter Wangberg - judge of the Court of Appeal in Norway. 
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was visited by foreign delegation, which included representatives of the European Union Committee for Civilian Aspects of Crisis Management (CIVCOM) and Advisory Mission of the European Union for promotion of reform in the civil security sector in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine), representing all EU member-countries. During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the main activities of the University and material and technical base of the educational establishment. 
Private police, checkpoint inspector of commandant’s office of Department of internal service organization of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Nataliia Batrak won the third place in XII Ukrainian summer Universiade in track and field athletics, held in Kharkiv, in the race at 1,500 m. 
Ukrainian championship of amateur kickboxing VTKA among adults took place in Dnepropetrovsk. The competition was participated by both men and women. Championship was "fruitful" for the medals for the athletes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Seven prize-winning places took representatives of the University in different versions and weight categories.
