The opening of the All-Ukrainian action “16 Days Against Gender Violence” took place at Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the participation of the Deputy Director of the College Yurii Shmeliov and specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Educational and Vocational Guidance. Also, Oksana Trisko, a specialist of the Psychological Support Department, college cadets and students took part in it.

The educational event was dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Yurii Shmelev paid cadets’ and students’ attention to the topical issue of violence against women in the family and gender equality between men and women.

The problem of overcoming violence against women is constant in the field of view of the world community, so Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs does not stay away from this problem. The action “16 Days Against Gender Violence” is another way to draw people’s attention to the current problems of nowadays.
