Lecturers of the cycle commission of philological disciplines of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Head of the Scientific Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences Maryna Petchenko and Inspector of the Scientific Department Nataliia Dovbysh took part in a round table on the topic "Application of interactive teaching methods in Ukrainian language and literature classes".

In the conditions of national revival of Ukraine and creation of the national democratic state, it is very important to educate people who think independently and creatively, who have an opportunity to critically comprehend the facts and events of the surrounding reality, who would bring new ideas to all spheres of life of society, who would be free from conformism and dogmatism.

The event was conducted by the lecturer of Ukrainian language and literature Svitlana Cherednyk, who stressed that the current problems in pedagogy today are exploratory learning, developmental learning, the choice of methods, tools and forms of learning that would promote cognitive development of students in the process of organized interaction, cooperation, partnership. Interactive teaching methods contribute to the fact that students master all levels of knowledge, develop critical thinking, reflection, the ability to contemplate, and solve problems.

During the meeting, participants actively shared their experiences, discussed forms, methods, technologies of interactive learning, motivation to learn, which is the driving force of personal development.

Lecturers will use the acquired knowledge in their classes.
