Nataliia Horobets, Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines and Yana Sadykova, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines participated in the 14-th online forum on Corporate Law, organized by the Employee association in Ukraine. This annual forum is a platform for professional discussion and exchanging of thoughts between leading experts and authorities.
Primary police training courses for the specialization “Special Police” (qualification “Security Police”) have started at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. 30 police officers of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region, who were first assigned to the police service, were enrolled in training.
Svitlana Petrovska, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Economic Sciences, underwent advanced training under the program “Digital Literacy of Educators”.
The Student-Cadet Parliament of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, headed by 3rd-year student Maryna Haidar, organized the first meeting of the English speaking club in the ZOOM-conference mode.
Webinar on the topic “Officer or individual? Police in social media accounts” took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Tuomo Korhonen, Senior Adviser on General Policing of European Union Advisory Mission Field Office in Kharkiv was the main speaker of the event.
Oleksandr Kukhariev, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings at the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participated as a lecturer at a webinar on professional development for lawyers on “Tactics of client's rights protection by a lawyer with regard to cases, occurring under legal succession”.
An online game “What? Where? When?”, attended by 78 teams from all over Ukraine was conducted within the framework of the project of intellectual games “The GAME”, under the sponsorship of “Zinteco” in compliance with all quarantine requirements. Students and teachers of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were among the teams.
The scientific work with students continues at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. A distance meeting of the philosophical circle took place under the guidance of Svitlana Mohilova, Associate Professor of the Department. The fundamental principles of the theory of American political and social scientist Samuel Huntington on the pattern of conflicts in the modern period were considered.
Representatives of the University took part in the online event "Diplomacy Talks" from the Public Diplomacy Platform. The main speaker of the event was Simon Anholt, the world’s leading expert on national branding, consulting Presidents, Prime Ministers, monarchs and government representatives of nearly 60 countries, cities and regions.
It has already become a good tradition in Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to donate blood for little patients of the children's regional hospital. “We must be the ones who actively promote donation, - said Tsvitana Baranova, a lecturer of Sumy branch, - and involve more and more people in this important cause.”
