As part of the All-Ukrainian campaign "16 days against violence" an online lecture "Stop violence easily" was held for first year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The lecture was held in the format of a dialogue on the ZOOM platform with the participation of Oksana Krasovska, a Senior Inspector of the Public Relations Sector of Sumy Oblast Patrol Police Department.
At the beginning of the meeting, the speaker told the first year students about the definition of "violence", which is one of the most common forms of human rights violations. According to statistics, the most common is domestic violence, the level of which is growing every year. But according to Oksana Krasovska, this problem can be overcome only by joint efforts, providing a comprehensive approach to solving them, namely preventing further cases of violence, bringing perpetrators to justice and providing
qualified assistance to those who need it.
The meeting was held in friendly communication, actively discussed topical issues of this topic.
