An instructional lesson on observance of traffic rules and road safety, organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, was conducted for the second-year cadets of Kharkiv National
University of Internal Affairs.

The event was attended by Vice-Rector of the University Anatolii Klochko, representatives of the Patrol Police Department of Kharkiv Region, Police Senior Lieutenant Henrykh Marharian and Police
Captain Maksym Misan.
Anatolii Klochko emphasized on the observance of discipline and legality, transport discipline, gave examples of accidents committed with the participation of police officers and their consequences,
stressed on the inadmissibility of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Anatolii Mykolaiovych called on those present to observe the Law of Ukraine “On the National Police”, orders and instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Traffic Regulations, personal safety measures.
Representatives of the Patrol Police Department of Kharkiv Region provided data on the number of traffic accidents in Ukraine and Kharkiv Region, analyzed the most common causes of accidents
and injuries.
