Representatives of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty No. 3 took the online course “I Know Gender”, which was provided by UN Women through the massive open online course platform Prometheus.

During the course, the following topics were discussed: “Let's Start with Gender Issues”, “Empowering Women and Girls”, “Sex, Gender and Gender Identity”, “Gender Building Components”, “Gender Division of Labor”, “Gender Roles”, “Gender Inequality”, “Origins of Inequality”, “Gender Diversity”, “Gender Stereotypes”, “Gender Discrimination”, “Violence Against Girls and Women”, “Gender-Based Violence and Violence Against Women”, “Gender Equality and Gender Equality of Rights”, “Women Empowerment”, “Men for Gender Equality”, “Gender Mainstreaming”.

The acquired knowledge will help to improve the professional level and will be applied in scientific and pedagogical activities. According to the results of participation in the distance course, the corresponding certificates were obtained.
