Iryna Vasylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took an online course “Smart Community: Data-Based Management” through the platform of mass open online courses Prometheus. The training course, developed with the support of the European Union and its Member States Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Poland and Sweden, was developed as part of the E-Solutions for Communities project implemented by the Center for Innovation Development with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Program».

The following topics are considered: "Community management in digital age", "Digital community data system", "Analytical solutions for modeling and planning community development", "Program-targeted budgeting method for community development", "Digital technologies for community asset management", " Modern approaches to planning the development of the territory, community development, investment attraction ". The participants of the event were acquainted with real cases of communities that successfully use IT tools, data and analytical solutions based on them for effective community management.

Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity received knowledge about the features of management 2.0 - based on data analysis - and the creation of information and analytical management system; got acquainted with the features and benefits of building a single data system, IT tools, analytical solutions; learned to use modern digital technologies in community management; gained practical digital competencies for solving important community management problems through analytical solutions based on data analysis, use of modeling results and forecasting.

The acquired knowledge will be applied within the training courses taught by the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of  Faculty № 6.
