The cadets of the study group 409 of the faculty № 3 together with the curator, associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Viktoriia Dotsenko, visited the Historical Museum of Kharkiv, where they got acquainted with the exhibition "At the Crossroads of Centuries. Archeology of the region".

During the tour, the cadets got acquainted with the exhibits that reflect the material culture of the population that lived in the modern Kharkiv region during the early Middle Ages (Penkiv and Saltovo-Maiatsk culture).

The cadets were told about the history of the discovery of the Saltovo-Maiatsk culture near the villages Verkhnii Saltiv in the early XX century. They saw weapons (sabers, arrowheads), equipment of war horses (fishing rods, stirrups, ornaments of horse harness belts) and metal elements of the belts of Saltov soldiers (buckles, plaques, tips). They got acquainted with the things worn by Saltov women and children: earrings, rings, rings, bracelets, items of clothing (various buttons, brooches), necklaces, amulets.
