
Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Activity of the Police of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, candidate of law sciences, major of police Mariana Kachynska was invited as a speaker to participate in the training on “Public Order and Crowd Management” held in Katowice (Poland).
Under the motto “Poets are born, speakers become” the XVII International Contest "Cicero-2017" took place at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk), where 49 cadets and students from 22 higher educational institutions took part. Besides the speakers from Belarus - Minsk, Gomel, Grodno, Brest, Mogilev and Ukraine - Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, the first place was competed by representatives of Azerbaijan, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, China, Nigeria, Turkmenistan. The general theme of the contest was – “Events, People and Their Affairs”, devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian militia.
Representatives of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the Forum "Cadets and Student Spring - 2017", which took place on the basis of the State Penitentiary Service (Chernihiv).
With the assistance of the European Union Advisory Mission, the Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs conducted a training course on community policing, in which representatives of the patrol police and district inspectors from the Lugansk and Donetsk regions took part.
The festive events dedicated to the Day of Europe took place on Freedom Square. Representatives of the Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs, led by the rector, General of Police of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, took part in them. The solemn ceremony began with the raising of the State Flag of Ukraine and the Flag of the European Union.
Lecturers of the Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation Chair Serhii Tereshchuk and Oleksii Salmanov, Associate Professor of the Administrative Law and Process Chair Nataliia Kolomoiets and lecturer of the Constitutional and International Law Nataliia Filipska took part in the international interdepartmental seminar "Effective technologies of the prevention of social orphanhood" in Vilnius (Republic of Lithuania).
Those who want to meet the global tendencies of developing “science without borders”, scholars of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs responded to the initiative of the department of scientific work organization and with the participation of the library and informational and technology department of the University complete personal profiles in the search system Google Scholar. Nowadays, based on the portal “Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science”, according to the number of profiles created by scholars of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (332 accounts as of October 7, 2016) the University is ranked 18th in the ranking of “Top 20 Institutions by the Number of Bibliometric Profiles of Scholars”.
On 1 September in boarding-school № 11 for children with psychoneurological disorders were held the events dedicated to the Day of Knowledge, which was attended by representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Valerii Sokurenko police took part in the Opening Ceremony of the International Assembly of Kharkiv Twin-Cities.
