During the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the head Arsen Avakov stated that in 2020, thanks to the consolidated efforts of the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Migration Service and the Main Service Center in mobile application “DiYa”, digital images of Ukrainian passport in the form of ID-card, foreign biometric passport, driver’s license and vehicle registration certificate were introduced.

"It is now possible to pay fines for violating traffic rules online. We have proved to the society that the state can provide high quality and convenient service, the center of which is a person," the Minister said.

At the same time, Arsen Avakov stressed that another important project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs last year was the "Community Police Officer".

“Already in 275 UTCs in 13 regions officers live and work among the residents, providing full primary police service. The project has been partially implemented in 6 more regions,” the Minister emphasized.

According to him, independent polls in the territorial communities where such officers work have shown 70 percent confidence in the police.

"Therefore, our task is to provide each territorial community with a police officer who lives and works there," the minister said.

It is worth reminding that on February 6th, the regular Graduation of officers of the community took place at KhNUIA.
