Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a regular meeting of the scientific group “English language ICAO is an important component of flight safety” at the cycle commission of philological disciplines chaired by foreign language lecturer Liudmila Chyzhova. She opened the meeting, emphasizing the feasibility and prospects of scientific activities of higher education, which contributes to their comprehensive development and provides knowledge that will be useful in future practical activities in the specialty.

At the meeting, the issues of writing and design of scientific papers, proposals and relevance of selected topics, technical requirements were discussed. The process how the links in the text of the article and the list of references can be filled in was analyzed.

The scientific circle is also a platform for improving public speaking and erudition. Under the guidance of a lecturer, higher education students learn to freely express their opinions publicly and navigate the problematic issues of aviation, to study in more detail the basics of “Foreign Language (Professional)” and “Professional English”, to offer solutions to current problems and analyze the current state of aviation.

In order to ensure an effective system of prevention and detection of academic plagiarism in the scientific works of higher education applicants, members of the scientific circle re-examined the legal documents: “Regulations on the academic integrity of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs”, were informed about free text plagiarism programs.
