At the initiative of the Council of Young Scientists at the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and with the support of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, an exhibition of photos of women scientists - representatives of higher education and research institutions "Lady Science" was opened. Photos of women who have made a significant contribution to the science of KhNUIA were presented in the exhibition, which includes more than 130 photos from 34 leading institutions of higher education and research institutions of Kharkiv.

The event was supported by the Innovation Park Unit Kharkiv, SPIE, the Center for Gender Culture, the project of the European Union "Center for Gender Culture as a platform for women's and youth empowerment."

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science was established by a UN General Assembly resolution from December 15, 2015, to highlight the role of women and girls in science, to achieve full and equal access for women and girls to science, to empower them, and to ensure gender equality.
