On the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Academy of Internal Affairs organized an online round table with the participation of representatives of all higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko noted that “There is a tendency to increase the number of women among masters, graduate students, candidates and doctors of sciences every year in Ukraine, and now the total number of women in domestic science is 45%. Among the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this figure is higher - 51%. Such women are an example to others, they change the views of society and once again prove that science in the security sector is barrier-free and progressive. "

The participants of the event discussed the achievements of previous years and the challenges of today for women in the science of free economic system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Oksana Tsukan, Assistant Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for Gender Issues, presented the stories of women scientists at KhNUIA. Such positive examples are important for other women to believe in their own strengths and realize their scientific potential.
