Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a webinar on "Benefits and risks of police work to prevent drug use and distribution." The event was conducted in English. Its organizers are the EUAM together with the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction.

The main speaker of the online event was Gregor Burkhart, a representative of the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction, who told about the factors that motivate drug use, including minors, provided statistics on drug and alcohol use in previous years, considered the types of addictions, types of control and aspects, which change behavior, highlighted preventive measures and informational approaches which prevent drug use and distribution in the best way. The speaker also told about the experience and practices of EU countries in the field of drug counteraction and noted that this problem remains relevant for European countries.
