A regular meeting of the Academic Council of the University took place. The event was attended by the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, Ex-Rectors Oleksandr Bandurka and Serhii Husarov, First Vice-Rector Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rectors Serhii Bortnyk, Mykhailo Burdin, Leonid Mohilevskyi, Anatolii Klochko, the heads of departments. Topical issues of the university's vital activity were discussed. The awards to the University employees and diplomas to doctoral students were presented.

For exemplary performance of duties, personal initiative and dedication, high professionalism, the departmental incentive award of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Appreciation, was expressed to the inspector of the fire safety group of the Department of Material Support, senior police lieutenant Mykola Ovcharov. A valuable gift from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a watch, was given to Viktoriia Holub, a cadet of the Faculty No.3. The Appreciation on behalf of Kharkiv Regional State Administration was expressed to the Head of the Institute of Postgraduate Education Dmytro Kosinov.

Diplomas were awarded to the Applicants of a scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 08 "Law" in the specialty 081 "Law": Dmytro Bulatin, Daria Vasylieva, Andrii Davydenko, Anatolii Kozar, Kateryna Krasnyk, Nataliia Kushnyr, Denys Moldovanov, Nataliia Navalnieva, Olena Nehoda. Degree of Candidate of Law in the specialty "Administrative Law and Procedure; Finance Law; Information Law" was awarded to Stanislav Potopalskyi.
