Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the first stage of the Olympiad in Informatics among cadets of the first year of the specialty “Aviation Transport”.

The participants of the Olympiad were greeted by Maryna Petchenko, the Head of the Science Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences. She noted the importance of improving students’ knowledge of the use of information technology in today’s digital space and stressed the growing interest in acquiring knowledge of computer science and the ability to demonstrate confidence in information and communication technologies.

The authors and organizers of the competition tasks - experienced lecturers of the division of natural sciences Svitlana Hrybanova and Oksana Husarova - did their best to formulate the tasks of the Olympiad concisely, transparently, and interestingly to encourage participants to continue working on the tasks after the Olympiad.

The works of the Olympiad participants were checked by a professional jury. The chairman of the jury is Yana Doludareva, the Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. The members of the jury are Svitlana Hrybanova and Oksana Husarova. According to the results of the completed tasks, they noted the high level of knowledge of the participants in the field of web technologies and determined the winners: First place was taken by cadet Nazar Valchuk; Second place - cadet Oleksandr Matisko, and third place - cadet Artem Yatsenko.
