Iryna Vasylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an online course " Development of teaching and management at universities " by means of open online platform Prometheus and received a certificate of completion.

The course " Development of teaching and management at universities " is the result of cooperation between experts from Ukraine and Germany, teachers and staff of NGO "Higher", the Saxon Center for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (HDS) (Germany) and the National Agency for Quality Higher Education. The project is funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Different views on improving the quality of teaching, updating educational programs, management and leadership at the university were presented.

The quality of teaching is a key element of the quality of education. Within their own courses or educational components, teachers develop the quality of educational programs, the learning process and the assimilation of material by students, and as a result - the internal quality of education in higher educational institutions.

Experienced educators helped to take a new look at the role of the teacher in ensuring the quality of education, trained to design course syllabus, plan and implement effective changes at different levels - individual courses, educational programs and higher educational establishments in general; as well as got more information about the role of the program guarantor and projects choice to support the development of teachers in free economic zones.

The course presented video lectures, additional materials, practical tasks, tests for self-examination and useful links.

The acquired knowledge will be used in the educational process.
