The Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA hosted a regular meeting of the scientific circle "Actual problems of national economic development in the context of globalization" in the format of an online video conference on the Zoom platform. The topic of the meeting was "Information technologies in law enforcement".

Svitlana Petrovska, Candidate of Economic Sciences, the head of the circle, addressed the cadets and students, and Svitlana Vyhaniailo, Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, was a moderator.

The members of the scientific circle were involved in the coverage of the topic. Yevhenii Trofymenko, the first-year-cadet, made the report "Cyber Security", in which the components forming the cyber security system of Ukraine were examined. Oleksandr Krasnov, the first-year-cadet, made the report "Information technology in law enforcement", in which the latest software developments for law enforcers and lawyers were reviewed.

Svitlana Vyhaniailo, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department, is a scientific adviser of the cadets and students.

The reports covered the latest software developments for law enforcers and lawyers, important issues of cybersecurity, the state of protection of vital interests of people, society and the state.
