Liudmyla Katsalap, a senior researcher of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Police Activity Ensuring of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, successfully completed «Gender-based Violence: module version 2.3» course on LEEd CEPOL online educational platform. The course covered topics related to forms of gender-based violence, priority actions of police officers in such cases, particular, issues of interaction with victims. The participants of the course were acquainted with the experience of the European Union countries in preventing and counteracting gender violence.

This course is aimed at professionals working on the prevention or investigation of crimes which are related to gender violence, as well as law enforcement officers of other National Police units.

According to the results of the course, a certificate was received.
