The graduate of the Doctorate and Postgraduate Military Course of KhNUIA in 2004, the head of Lozova District Police Department of MDNP of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, the Candidate of Law, Colonel of Police Serhii Mielieshiev held the meeting with postgraduates and doctoral students of the Department of Organization of Educational and Scientific Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The purpose of the meeting was to conduct a comparative analysis of studying for the degree of "candidate of sciences" with training for the degree of "doctor of philosophy" at Doctorate and Postgraduate Military Course of KhNUIA.
Serhii Mielieshiev spoke about the peculiarities of theoretical and practical training of adjuncts and stages of preparation of candidates of sciences (from drawing up entrance examinations to the defense of the dissertation).
In turn, the adjuncts spoke about the peculiarities of training applicants for higher education for the degree of "Doctor of Philosophy", which has been carried out according to the educational and scientific program since 2016 at Doctorate and Postgraduate Military Course. Its successful implementation gives the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge, skills, and other competencies, sufficient for the production of new ideas, solving comprehensive problems in the field of professional and/or research and innovation activity, to master the methodology of scientific and pedagogical activity. The basis for the preparation of higher education applicants for the degree of "Doctor of Philosophy" is compliance with the principles of academic integrity. The management of the University made a decision on a free check for the uniqueness of scientific works of applicants for the higher education of the degree "Doctor of Philosophy" using the UNICHEK program.
After discussing the comparative analysis, Serhii Mielieshiev wished participants to confidently continue their scientific path.
