Higher education applicants of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Adviser to the Rector on Gender Issues Oksana Tsukan and Specialist of the International Cooperation Department Alona Ryndych joined the panel discussion “Youth of Ukraine and European Integration - the Horizon of Opportunities”, which was held within the framework of the EUKrayina All-Ukrainian Information Campaign. The purpose of the panel discussion was to raise the awareness of the young generation about European values.
Tetiana Kovalchuk, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Valeriia Kolomiiets, Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine for European Integration, Daria Haidai, Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, and Stanislav Husariev, First Vice-Rector of National Academy of Internal Affairs, took part in the online event.
The speakers of the event paid considerable attention to the goals, objectives, standards, and basic values of the EU, which include the rule of law, the maintenance of democracy, the observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms, the activities of Ukraine towards European integration, the introduction of European standards in policing, etc.
The topic of the conversation was relevant and informative and caused a lively discussion among the participants. Applicants for higher education received comprehensive answers to their questions from the speakers of the event.
