Kharkiv hosted the Regional Debate Tournament in online format, organized by the All-Ukrainian Initiative “Active Community” with the support of USAID and National Democratic Institute. The event was attended by students and cadets of higher education institutions of Kharkiv. The teams played the role of government and opposition representatives. The government had to present arguments in support of the proposal, the opposition - to prevent this and refute the arguments of government officials.

According to the results of the final, two teams of cadets of the faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which are the members of the School of Scientific Leadership of the faculty, Daria Fartushna and Maryna Haidenko took the III-d place, Anna Terela and Oleksii Rachynskyi took the IV-th place.
