For cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Department of Social and Humanitarian work launched a series of museum lectures "A lesson that can not be forgotten: to the 35th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster" in online format.
The staff of the university never ignores this date, because among us even today there are people whose biography bears the Chornobyl trace. At one time, without sparing their own lives and health, they fulfilled their human and civic duty, stopped the spread of the radiation invasion. Others became victims of this disaster and left their native places in the very center of Ukraine forever. The prepared slide show shows biographical and other materials from the collection of the University Museum.
The eternal lesson of Chornobyl absorbed the tragedy of the victims and the heroism of the liquidators, testified to the need for public control over the observance of environmental safety in the country.
