By tradition in Easter, people go to temples and churches, visit the festive service, sanctify kuliches (cakes) and krashankas (painted eggs). However, during the lockdown, which is introduced in our country in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the accumulation of people is the greatest threat to their health.

The leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs invited the bishop of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine - Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv Vladyka Mitrofan to consecrate the kuliches made to Easter holidays by employees of the university bakery.

During the sanctification of kuliches, the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, the First Vice-Rector Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rectors Serhii Bortnyk, Leonid Mohilevskyi, Anatolii Klochko, and leaders and representatives of the other structural units of the higher educational institution, were present.

Vladyka Mitrofan conducted a rite of consecration and wished employees, cadets, students, attendees of the magistracy and adjuncture of the University Peace, Health, Welfare, Family Happiness, and God's Blessing in all good matters.
