Within the work of the Circle of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a round table was held on the topic "Features of Social Policy in Ukraine (Policy of Employment, Income, Social Protection of the Population)", organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines Nadiia Sapych.

The Head of the Department on Lease Relations and Social Policy of the PAE "Slobozhanshchyna Ahro" Tetiana Zavalii, Lecturers of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines and Members of the Circle of the Department took part in the round table.

Olena Lukianykhina, Head of the Department, opened the event and drew attention to the relevance of the topic and the importance of raised issues for the practical work of future lawyers.

Anna Martynenko, a student of the 2nd year, began the discussion and delivered a report "Features of Employment Policy in Ukraine". The speaker familiarized the present with the purpose of the state policy in the field of employment and the main directions of its implementation. The topic of the report caused a lively discussion on the social protection of certain segments of the population.

A student of the 2nd year, Daryna Prykhodko delivered a report "Features of Social Policy in Ukraine. Social Protection of the Population". The methods of state influence on the development of social protection of the population aroused particular interest.

Student Yevheniia Kovalenko familiarized the audience with research on the topic "Trends in the State Policy of Revenue of Ukraine: Disadvantages and Directions of Reform". The report was thorough, containing modern statistical data, and caused a lively discussion around the issues of the peculiarities of the income of Ukrainians, their current state, and possible directions of regulation.

1st-year student Yuliia Nishtenko continued the discussion on the topic "World Experience of Models of Social Policy and Their Possibility of Use in Ukraine", demonstrating the high-quality assimilation of economic disciplines.

The Head of the Department on Lease Relations and Social Policy of the PAE "Slobozhanshchyna Ahro" Tetiana Zavalii raised the issues that are constantly faced in their work, namely, practical application of social policy features; income, and social protection of the population.

The round table was held in videoconference mode on the Zoom video meeting platform.
