Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the 3-rd rank, instructed university staff involved in providing public safety and order during the May holidays - Remembrance and Reconciliation Day and Victory Day over Nazism in World War II.

Employees and cadets of the university will serve as joint patrol teams together with employees of territorial divisions of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region. Addressing the police, Valerii Sokurenko focus on the conscientious attitude to service, strict observance of the law, security rules and quarantine requirements.

The event was attended by Vice-Rector of the university, Police Colonel Serhii Bortnyk.
