Match. Exchange. Develop. Youth Work against violent radicalisation and extremism – partner building activity

Motivated by the increasing radicalisation of young people and the use of violence, hate speech, hate crimes, xenophobia, propaganda, attacks on migrants, political and religious extremism and terrorist attacks, the cooperation project “Youth Work against violent radicalisation and extremism” aimed and aims at different activities to discuss the underlying causes and factors leading towards the adoption of a radical ideology and use of violent means.
The aim of the event is to encourage and support projects focusing on the role of youth work in promoting community resilience in the framework of Erasmus+ Youth in Action and the European Solidarity Corps programme.
The Partnership Building Activity will be an open space for getting to know other professionals involved in the same/ similar field of work, for exploring together potential ideas for common projects, for building quality partnerships and co-creating projects and grant applications.
The PBA will also provide space for participants to share practices and resources about youth work and youth workers involved in preventing violent radicalisation and to create international working groups that will lead to future cooperation, support and new networks for future projects.
