NATO Building Integrity (BI) participated in the Regional education activity on key elements on anticorruption legislation (restrictions, limitations), and ethical conduct regulation for the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event took place on 28 March with more than 100 participants from the MOI system institutions.
Ms. Marina Kogut, Senior Assistant to NATO BI in Ukraine, addressed the audience with the speech on the NATO approaches to integrity, transparency and accountability, as well as good governance principles strengthening. She also mentioned the key achievements of the cooperation with Ukrainian partners, in particular with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as current activities that are designed to promote further transparency, accountability and integrity in the work of the defence and security institutions of Ukraine. Ms. Kogut also underlined the continuous NATO BI support towards the defence and related security sector institutions on their path of embedding the good governance standards, preventing corruption and strengthening both individual and institutional integrity.
