What do “equality”, “non-discrimination”, “diversity”, “living together”, “inclusion of minorities”, “gender equality” mean to you and your country?

Tell this with pictures by taking part in the #PGG4Citizens Photo Competition: “My future without discrimination”.

Photographs should be taken in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova or Ukraine.

The best photographs will be exhibited on Council of Europe channels.

Contest open from 5 October 2020 to 15 November 2020, midnight CET.

Share your photograph with a title or a caption of maximum 40 words in English, on Instagram with the hashtag #PGG4Citizens and tag Council of Europe Instagram account @councilofeurope.

#PGG4Citizens Photo Competition “my future without discrimination” aims to:

  • Increase awareness and engagement on human rights, rule of law and democracy in the region;
  • Promote the importance of diversity, tolerance, equality and related narratives to combat discrimination, hate crime and hate speech;
  • Raise awareness about the European Union/Council of Europe partnership, its activities and the key message that: “The European Union and the Council of Europe are working together with Eastern Partnership countries to promote good governance and improve the lives of citizens.”

The best photos will be announced on 1 December 2020 and will be awarded a certificate from the Council of Europe. In addition, the best photos and the name of the winners will be exhibited on the PGG website.
