On September 9, the International Scientific Conference "Massacre of Babyn Yar. 80 years later" will take place. The event is organized by MEIS – the Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah (Museo Nazionale dell'Ebraismo Italiano e della Shoah) and the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center.
The main speakers are:
– Dario Disegni, President of MEIS;
– Pierre Francesco Dzazo, Ambassador of Italy in Kiev;
– Amedeo Spanoletto, Director of MEIS;
– Edoardo Crisafulli, Director of the Italian Institute of Culture of Kiev;
– Mario Venice, President of the Shoah Foundation Museum in Rome;
– Jacob Dov Blikh, Chief Rabbi of Kyiv and Ukraine, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center.
The conference starts at 19:00 Kyiv time.
