A volleyball game between the men's teams of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Pisochyn United Territorial Community “Sonar” took place on
the basis of Kharkiv Regional College of Physical Culture and Sports. In a fierce struggle, the men's team of the university won with a score of 3:2.

On the Day of Honoring Pensioners and Veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs always honors its employees. Due to quarantine restrictions, veterans and retirees of the university were welcomed at home this year.
St. Nicholas Day is an integral part of Ukrainian culture and history, which is important and interesting to know. He became famous for his kindness, sensitivity and help to the needy. Children expect gifts from him, and adults honor St. Nicholas as a protector and patron who contributes to all good actions and plans.
Traditionally, on St. Nicholas Day, the Rector of the University meets with orphan cadets and cadets, whose parents died, defending the independence of our state during conducting the Anti-terrorist operation - Operation Joint Forces. This year, the cadets received greetings on St. Nicholas Day, New Year and Christmas from the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, the Vice-Rectors of the University Serhii Bortnyk, Anatolii Klochko, and the Deans of the Faculties No.No. 1–4 Oleksandr Muzychuk, Kostiantyn Harbuziuk, Anatolii Kolotik and Viacheslav Markov.
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, the director of Sumy Branch of the KhNUIA, Serhiy Lukash, met with cadets who have the status of orphans or deprived of parental care. Currently, four such cadets study at the Branch, and the issues of their social protection are very important and relevant.
Traditionally, on the eve of the New Year holidays at Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Director Ruslan Yakovlev, the Deputy Director Yurii Shmeliov and the experts of department of social and humanitarian, educational and career guidance work congratulated the cadets and students with social status “orphan”, “child deprived of parental care” on St. Nicholas Day.
St. Nicholas Day is a joyful and long-awaited holiday that children are waiting for, because St. Nicholas is the patron saint of children, he gives them gifts and sweets. Employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work and the cadet-student parliament of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on behalf of the university management, trade union committee greeted students of the sponsored Kharkiv Sanatorium School № 11 Kharkiv Regional Council.
Traditionally, on the eve of St. Nicholas Day, Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs holds a charity event “Let’s collect things for children”.
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, Valerii Bondarenko, a Leading Specialist of the Faculty No 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Inna Holopych, a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian Studies, visited students of the Kharkiv Regional Sanatorium School No 11 of the Kharkiv Regional Council.
