Training seminar on professional development of internal security police units of the National Police started at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The regular training course regarding leadership and management for mid-level Police Chiefs began in Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the 1-st of August. The training was held by the experienced coach from Great Britain – Peter Wilson. 

The Colloquium on Cross-border Crime: The 19-th Cross-border Crime Colloquium-Combating Cross-border Crime in the East- and West-Europe Borders, which took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for two days, was finished.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was visited by the senior advisor on cybercrime issues of the EUAM in Ukraine Kiril Miliev (Republic of Bulgaria). The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the opportunities and needs of the Faculty No. 4, which is engaged in training specialists in the field of cybersecurity and the fight against cybercrimes.

Head of the Research Information and Cybersecurity Laboratory of the Faculty No 4 Vadym Korshenko took part in the “BIT-2017” - International Forum “Business and IT. Around the Data Center. Around the Cloud. Around Security. Around IP” – a unique sectoral event characterized by a comprehensive approach, quality of information content and traditionally gathers the best representatives of the IT community, business environment and cyber security specialists.

Oleksii Serdiuk, deputy head of the Research Laboratory for the Problems on Combating Crime of Kharkiv National University of Internal Afairs, lieutenant colonel of police took part as an expert in the Open Space Workshop “Two years of police reform: successes and failures in Kharkiv Region”. 

Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, general of police of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko is currently in the United States within the official visit to the United States studied the American police training system.

Cadets and scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty 4 (cyber police) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs headed by the dean of the Faculty, lieutenant colonel of police Viacheslav Markov took part in the conference “Bitcoin Meetup Kharkiv”, which was organized by Distributed Lab company.
