The members of the scientific group joined a series of lectures on the course "European Legal Values: Experience for Ukraine in the Field of Criminal Proceedings" by the academic staff of the Institute of Law of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs within the framework of the All-Ukrainian educational project "Unbreakable Law Schools of Ukraine".

On International Volunteer Appreciation Day, first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Kateryna Krasii, Vitalii Kyikov and Hlib Kurdes helped to weave camouflage nets for the Motorized Hive volunteer center. This time, the students and volunteers made a camouflage net measuring 4x6 meters.

Leading researcher of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Psychological Support of Law Enforcement Activity, Police Captain Yevhenia Hladkova, together with the team of the Palms of Peace Charitable Foundation, delivered animal food to Kharkiv City Animal Care Center and to city residents who have taken in lost or abandoned animals. The academic staff of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, headed by the Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov, took an online course for lecturers on topical issues of ensuring academic integrity in the activities of higher education institutions on the Prometheus platform.

Tetiana Ponomarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Candidate of Philosophy, took part in the international scientific conference "Kant's Philosophy and the Challenges of Modernity" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Immanuel Kant.

The collection of the Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has been replenished with new gifts from the university community. Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Premedical Training, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Yukhno presented the library with educational and scientific publications.

Recently, the results of the second stage of the XXXIII All-Ukrainian Championship in Information Technology "Ecosoft-2024" and the XV national stage of the International Computer Project Competition "INFOMATRIX-2024" were summed up, in which Maksym Minyailo, a graduate of the Faculty № 4, specialty "Cybersecurity" of KhNUIA, took part.

In order to study the current issues of medical and premedical training of specialists in the security and defense sector of Ukraine under martial law, tactical medicine instructor, combatant Yevhen Maistruk together with Vladyslav Burkhailo, a lecturer at the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training, conducted a binary lesson for cadets of Faculties 2 and 3.

Representatives of the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA - Tetiana Matiushkova, Nadiia Serhiienko, Alona Muzychuk, Natalia Sadova, Inna Savina and Svitlana Vechirko - took part in the presentation of a new project of the NGO "Paneuropa Kyiv" - "Breaking Stereotypes: International Dialogues about Ukraine", created with the support of the German Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung.
