Olena Svitlakova and Halyna Snihur, specialists of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Scientific Library, took part in the presentation of the book "Ukrainian Hummingbirds" by motivator and volunteer Svitlana Penkova, which took place on Heroes' Day at the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Valentyn Otamanovskyi.
This was the theme of the scientific and practical conference held at KhNUIA, dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding national scientist in the field of civil law, professor, doctor of law, laureate of the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Pushkin.
Natalia Novikova, Head of the Psychological Support Department of the Human Resources Department of KhNUIA, took part in the regional forum "Reflection. Values and Stories of Resilience" within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program "HOW ARE YOU?" - an initiative of Olena Zelenska and Mental Health Awareness Month 2024.
Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Premedical Training, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Yukhno presented the scientific library of KhNUIA with a copy of his monograph on "Peculiarities of pre-trial investigation on the application of compulsory medical measures".
The team of participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA, which included Ruslan Salohub, 2nd year cadet of the Faculty № 3, and Oleksandr Tarabanov and Milena Tsvietkova, first-year cadets of the Faculty № 2, received grant funding to implement their own project within the Upshift program.
The Dean of the Faculty № 6 Oksana Brusakova, faculty members Larysa Yarantseva, Yurii Hnusov and Svitlana Smorodska purchased a laptop, two Motorola radios, bales of camouflage fabric and construction materials for the defenders of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko.
Valentyna Kochyna, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held an event in English on the occasion of the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture as part of the A Way to Europe project. The lecturer discussed with the cadets the history of the Slavic alphabet and the importance of writing in the history of any nation.
As part of the national and patriotic education of young people, an educational hour "Day of Heroes" was held for first- and second-year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA. The participants of the event watched a video about the outstanding events of Ukrainian history.
Employees of KhNUIA - Olena Ivanchenko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3, and Yevhen Khorolets, Lecturer of the cycle of special disciplines of the IPE, took the course "Training of Instructors in the Training of Risks Associated with Explosive Ordnance".
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Candidate of Law, Colonel of Police Leonid Tymchenko addressed the conference participants and emphasized the importance of cybersecurity and information security in the context of Russian armed aggression.
