The Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with representatives of the Fire Tactics and Service Organization Training Department and the Civil Protection and Life Safety Training Department of the Higher Vocational School of Lviv State University of Life Safety (Vinnytsia) conducted a binary training session.
The meeting was held on the topic "Protection of the rights of servicemen and veterans under martial law" within the framework of cooperation between Vinnytsia branch of KhNUIA Legal Clinic and Vinnytsia Regional Association of Local Governments and the Regional Center for Free Secondary Legal Aid in Vinnytsia region.
Deputy Head of the Sector for Combating Domestic Violence of the Department of Community Relations of Vinnytsia District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, Senior Lieutenant of Police Daniil Zinchenko, together with Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA Oleksandr Radchenko, conducted a binary lesson on the topic "Fundamentals of the Legal Status of Citizens of Ukraine" for 1st year cadets of the Faculty № 2.
The Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs received scientific publications as a gift from Serhii Shatrava, Head of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Pre-trial Investigation.
The Faculty № 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted checkers and table tennis tournaments among cadets of 1-3 years of study. The winners and prize-winners of the sports matches were awarded with diplomas and medals.
Maryna Chaban, a student of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won a silver medal in the Regional Rowing Cup among juniors held in Vinnytsia. According to the results of the competition, she took the second place at a distance XK-2, 500 meters.
The event was attended by Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, Head of the Community Relations Office of the Preventive Activity Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Major Maya Breslavska, First Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Vasylenko, Vice-Rectors of the University, Police Colonels Serhii Bortnyk and Oleksandr Muzychuk, Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, Police Colonel Ihor Nazarenko, and employees of various structural units of the university.
The 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, police private Artem Oliinyk took part in the European Mixed Martial Arts Championships MMA, which took place from March 27 to April 01, 2024 in Belgrade (Serbia). According to the results of the competition, Artem took 1st place in the weight category up to 77.1 kg, defeating athletes from Ireland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Finland.
The cadets of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA took part in the training "First Aid. Bleeding control". The event was held with the support of the Serhii Prytula Charitable Foundation "Civilian Preparedness Center".
For the purpose of national-patriotic and military-patriotic education of young people, Natalia Miloradova, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the curatorial group of the Faculty № 3, watched the documentary film "20 Days in Mariupol" by Mstyslav Chernov, which in March 2024 won the first Oscar for Ukraine in the category "Best Feature Documentary".
