Representatives of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA Olena Fedorenko, Nataliia Miloradova, Viktoriia Dotsenko and Olena Makarova completed training on the trauma_ua online platform in two modules - "Basic course of crisis self-help and helping others" and "Reducing the impact of a traumatic event on the quality of life" and received certificates from the Israel Trauma Coalition (ITS – Israel Trauma Coalition).

In June 2022, the U-Multirank rating agency published the 9th annual ranking of universities (U-Multirank 2022), which included more than 1,900 higher education institutions from 97 countries. The study presents 93 higher education institutions of Ukraine, including 2 systems of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Helping cancer patients means giving them hope! And everyone needs hope in times of war. At the initiative of the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valery Sokurenko, with the direct assistance of Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory for Psychological Support of Law Enforcement, Iryna Shcherbakova, Head of the Public Relations Department, Mykola Pakhnin, Head of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development and Victor Vasylenko, Dean of the faculty №5 and Oleg Sidorenko, emergency neurosurgeon of the 1st Neurosurgical Department of the City Clinical Hospital of Ambulance and Emergency Care the medical equipment (drip infusion machines and orthotics) was transferred to the Oncology center and the Trauma department of one of the hospitals in Kharkiv. 

An online meeting of the management of the Faculty No. 2 with future applicants and their parents was held on the ZOOM platform regarding the features of admission and study at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2022.

With the participation of Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory on Psychological Support of Law Enforcement Activity of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a meeting of the working group of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine on psychological support of law enforcement activity was held.

Olha Kostenko, a 2nd-year student of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, majoring in Law Enforcement, has been a member of the First Sumy Humanitarian Headquarters team since March 2022, which has been operating in the city since the beginning of the war.

An applicant of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yevhenia Budiukova again became a donor for young patients of the hematology department of Sumy Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.

On the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the National Police of Ukraine in Kamianets-Podilskyi District Administration, solemn events took place with the participation of the leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region, the head of Kamianets-Podilskyi Military District Administration Oleksandr Anuriev, the head of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Council Mykhailo Simashkevych, mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, the management of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Administration and Faculty № 1 of KhNUIA.

Ten winners of the webquest on information security “CyberKhNUIA” were determined, which was held from June 25 to July 4, 2022 by the Faculty № 4 (Cyberpolice) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine, the Department of Cyber Police of the National Police of Ukraine, Scientific Park "Science and Security".

Svitlana Petrovska, Associate professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in online trainings "Google Digital Tools for Higher Education" and "YouTube Opportunities for Education", which were organized by Google Ukraine as part of agreements with the Ministry of Education and of Sciences of Ukraine regarding expanding the possibilities of using digital tools to organize the educational process in the institutions of higher education.
