From now on, you are an integral part of the big police family. The chosen path of a law enforcement officer obliges always to be honest, conscientious, disciplined and with high responsibility to perform official duties for the protection of human rights and freedoms, complying with the requirements of the Law and the sworn Oath.
Police officers! Dear friends! Freshmen!
Today, first-year cadets took the National Police Officer's Oath of loyalty to the Ukrainian people. This significant event will enter a separate page in the annals of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. You chose the profession of a policeman, put on shoulder straps in an extremely difficult time for the country. Remember, for everyone who wears shoulder straps, the Oath is a sacred word, an inviolable command to always stand in defense of the Ukrainian people.
In Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, celebrations were held on the occasion of taking the Oath of a police officer by first year cadets of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3. Future police officers swore to faithfully serve the Ukrainian people and received police badges.
The ranks of law enforcement officers were filled by first-year cadets of faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who took the Oath of a police officer and received police badges, becoming full members of the university's cadet family.
The management of the Faculty No. 6, together with the staff of the preparatory department of KhNUIA, held an online conference with applicants. Pupils, their parents, managers and teachers of secondary schools in Kharkiv were invited to the meeting. More than 80 representatives of secondary schools No. 37, No. 53, No. 66, No. 84, No. 97, No. 139, No. 167 and Technological Lyceum No. 9 took part in the event.
Teams of first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the intellectual game "Experts of Law". It was held as part of the "Law Week" by the head of the scientific sector of the student-cadet Parliament, a 3rd-year student, Al Khatatneh Meia, who is studying law.
As part of the improvement of research activity, Assistant Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty No. 1, Iryna Kazanchuk, improved her qualifications by remotely participating in an educational online webinar on the topic "Functional capabilities of the Scopus scientometric database - how to use its capabilities", organized by Elsevier with the support of the Ministry of Education and sciences of Ukraine.
After the ceremonies dedicated to the taking of the Oath by the freshmen, a meeting of the management of the Faculty No. 2 with the parents of the cadets took place. Ihor Nazarenko, the Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Police, candidate of legal sciences, congratulated them on the solemn event, thanked them for the proper upbringing and support of the children in choosing a profession, and introduced them to the management staff of the faculty and the course.
