The event was attended by Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI #3. At the meeting, the newly created network of National Contact Points (NCPs) of the European Union Framework Program for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe” and the European Atomic Energy Community Research and Training Program (2021-2025), complementary to the Horizon Europe program, was presented. Oleksii Serdiuk is an official of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, performing the tasks and functions of the National Contact Point for Civilian Security for Society, established on the basis of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The main mission of the NCPs network is to intensify the participation of Ukrainian institutions and organizations in the Horizon Europe and Euratom programs, to ensure an increase in the quantitative and qualitative indicators of participation in them, and to attract European grants to strengthen Ukraine's research and innovation potential. The development of the NPCs network is an important stage in creating an infrastructure to support Ukrainian institutions and organizations in the Horizon Europe program.
