
The Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 of KhNUIA, Oleksii SERDIUK, joined the work of Kharkiv Media Forum. One of the main topics of the event was the fight against disinformation and propaganda from the Russian Federation.

An event was held on this topic, attended by First Vice-Rector Viktor VASYLENKO, Head of the International Cooperation Department Tetiana MATIUSHKOVA, Head of the Department of Legal Support for Police Activities and Crime Prevention Kostiantyn BUHAICHUK, Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Tykhin SHEVCHENKO.

Representatives of the Research laboratory on the problems of legal support for police activities and combating crime took part in the webinar "The impact of the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of internal security: threats, opportunities and prospects for European law enforcement agencies."

Tetiana MATIUSHKOVA, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and Vitalii NOSOV, Professor of the Department of Counteracting Cybercrime at the ERI No. 4, joined an online working meeting with Pedro COSTA MUNOZ, CEPOL TOPCOP Project Coordinator.

Under the organization and moderation of the International Cooperation Department, English conversation clubs were held weekly in online format for representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, starting from October 2024.

During February-June of this year, academic staff and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a series of lectures given by foreign partner scientists. The series of five lectures was organized by the TransJus Research Institute of the University of Barcelona.

Representatives of scientific institutions and higher education institutions joined the information forum dedicated to the information days and brokerage events of the Horizon Europe program in the direction of "Civil Security for Society", held by the European Commission in the first half of 2025.

Employees of the International Cooperation Department of KhNUIA joined the discussion “Expectations of Ukrainians from EU accession”, which took place within the framework of the “Towards the EU” program, implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation with the financial support of the Embassy of Ireland in Ukraine.

Within the framework of implementing the provisions of the concluded Memorandum of Understanding, a working meeting of the leadership of KhNUIA was held with representatives of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Program (PFRU) - Senior Advisor to the Project "Order and Security of the Population" Astrit ISTREFI and Advisor to the same project Anton KHARKIVETS.

The National Program Officer of the UNODC Program Office in Ukraine, Serhii RUDYI, conducted the second day of the training session for cadets. During the event, a wide range of issues were considered, including a comprehensive package of measures for the prevention of HIV, hepatitis and tuberculosis among people who inject drugs.
