
Olena Yushkevych, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Faculty №1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took an online course on Academic Integrity and gained skills in building a culture of academic integrity as part of the American Councils for International Education's Strengthening Academic Integrity in Ukraine Project (SAIUP).

Within the framework of the special course on tactical and special training "Certain issues of service by police officers in the de-occupied territories under martial law", cadets are practicing first aid to the wounded and themselves, taking into account the specifics of martial law, subject to the use of police equipment and the use of firearms.

At the Faculty No. 1, first-year cadets practice first aid skills at simulated incident scenes during practical training on first aid. The practical part consists of immediate actions to stop bleeding and conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Head of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №3 Ihor Kovalov and Associate Professor of the same department Mykola Borovyk conducted additional classes with the permanent and variable staff of Faculties №1 and №4 to improve tactical medicine skills in accordance with the TCCC-MP protocol for military personnel who are not paramedics.

On the occasion of the Easter holidays, a member of the secretariat of the Spiritual Council of Kamianets-Podilskyi, military chaplain Taras Banas, and a chaplain of the law enforcement system, priest Oleksandr Vershyhora, met with the cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The event was opened by the Vice-Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police Colonel Oleksandr Muzychuk, who emphasized the importance of quality scientific activity and organization of the Society. Yurii Onyshchenko, Deputy Dean of the Faculty №4 for Educational and Methodological Work, Oksana Melnychuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty №2, Liliia Zhyronkina, Leading Specialist of the Faculty № 1, and university cadets visited Khotyn, Chernivtsi region, where they met with graduates of educational institutions of Khotyn territorial community.

Students of the Faculties 1 and 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are regularly involved in weaving camouflage nets for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are now liberating our land from the enemy. The young people are happy to help the defenders, considering it their duty to participate in volunteer activities, and do everything possible to ensure victory.

Within the framework of career guidance activities, Inna Strok, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held an online meeting with lyceum students of the Regional Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after K.I. Ostrozkyi in Ostroh.

A regular meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1 was held, which was attended by applicants for higher education of Faculties No. 1-4, including online. During the meeting, which was chaired by Associate Professor Hennadii Dedurin, topical issues related to changes in the international security system against the background of the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war were discussed.
