The 1-2 year cadets and 2-3 year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, who are studying in the speciality ‘Law Enforcement’, listened to a lecture on the topic: ‘The concept and signs of a criminal offence: from template to meaningfulness’, which was conducted by the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1 Yurii Orlov.
The meeting of the group was held on the basis of the Department of Forensic Expertise of Kamianets-Podilskyi Khmelnytskyi Scientific Research Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The cadets got acquainted with the work of forensic experts, learned about how their work is organised in practice.
On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational hours with higher education students of the ERI №№ 1-5 of KhNUIA, dedicated to the honouring of Ukrainian customs and traditions, the history of Christmas celebration, creating a Christmas wreath and cooking traditional dishes.
Pupils of Koropets Regional Boarding Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training, who plan to become specialists in the field of law enforcement agencies, joined the interactive communication with the staff and cadets of KhNUIA. A career guidance meeting with the students and the lyceum's director Tetiana Stefanyshyn was held at Viacheslav Chornovil Lyceum in Ivano-Frankivsk.
With the assistance of the Main Department of the National Police in Chernivtsi region, the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1 Yurii Orlov, the lecturer of the same department Olena Horash, and the Deputy Head of the course Ruslan Yedin held an online meeting with the final year students of secondary education institutions in Chernivtsi and their parents.
Iryna Lutsenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1, met online with the pupils of Lopushnianskyi Lyceum of Berehometskyi Vyzhnytska Village Council of Vyzhnytskyi District of Chernivtsi Region. The lyceum graduates learned about the features and benefits of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The 2nd year students Maksym Maksymchuk and Ivanna Isar visited Chortkiv Lyceum No. 7 and Banyliv Ivan Diaakoniuk Support Lyceum. They told the future graduates about studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and answered the questions of high school students about this year's admission requirements.
Kateryna Penzieva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI №1, during an online meeting with high school students of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum №17, told about the educational and scientific institutes and specialities in which specialists are trained at KhNUIA.
Career guidance meetings were held in Khmelnytskyi at Lyceum No. 10 and Artem Mazur Technological Multidisciplinary Lyceum in Khmelnytskyi by 3rd year cadets of the ERI №1 Kateryna Bozhuk and Vladyslav Kutsak. They told the graduates about the conditions of admission to the higher education institution and the specialities that train specialists for police units.
The staff of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law of the ERI No. 1 organised a career guidance event for the final year students of the lyceum. The Head of the Department Oleksii Zaitsev together with the teachers acquainted the lyceum students with the possibilities of entering the university and the advantages of studying law.
