An educational meeting-conversation was held by the curator, professor of the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law, Yevhenii PODOROZHNYI, with first-year cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the topic of "Road Traffic Rules" - an integral component of the safe behavior of every citizen.

The performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine began the events on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine at Educational and Research Institutes No. 1, 4, 5 and Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Those present honored the bright memory of the defenders who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine with a minute of silence.

On the day of the Constitution of Ukraine at all locations where units of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are stationed, a charity fair was organized. The event was joined by higher education applicants - cadets and students who made motos, paintings, shells, wood, metal and other symbolic things.

With the assistance of the leadership of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Police Department of Khmelnytskyi Region, a working meeting was held with cadets undergoing practical training. The event was attended by: Head of the Practical Training Department Lilia ZHYRONKINA, Deputy Director of the ERI No. 1 Oleksii SALMANOV and Deputy Director of the ERI No. 4 Oleksandr SHLOMIN.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise, together with the Associate Professor of KhNUIA Daniil ZINCHENKO, conducted a practical lesson on the topic "Methodology of investigation of robberies". The cadets were introduced to the methodology of collecting and analyzing evidence at the crime scene, the features of interviewing witnesses and victims.

Higher education applicants of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 Danylo TESLIA, Roman MAKIIEVSKYI and Violeta SHOMAKHOVA successfully completed the workshop "Procedural Interview" and received the corresponding certificates. The event was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise, together with the instructor of first aid at Kamianets-Podilskyi city organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, Yulia KHRYSTOFOR, and volunteer Tymofii SHCHURENKO, conducted a practical lesson.

On the eve of the celebration of the 29th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized an intellectual team competition among higher education students of KhNUIA.

Employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, curators of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held information and educational hours for higher education applicants. They recalled the historical stages of the formation of Ukrainian statehood, the importance of the Fundamental Law as a guarantor of the rights and freedoms of citizens.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Oleksandr KHAN, as part of the expert group of the Center for Political and Legal Reforms, participated in the preparation of the Report on the results of the analysis of judicial practice on corruption and corruption-related criminal offenses in 2023.
