The ICO Self-Defense Combat Championship of Ukraine was held in Brovary. The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the competition and won prizes. The athletes were trained for the competition by the teachers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №3, Police Captain Dmytro Konstantynov and Senior Lieutenant Anton Chernikov.
Senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training Inna Larionova and Oleksandr Skliar, together with the Head of the Department - master of industrial training of the educational department of the Center for Life Protection and Safety, Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Tkachenko and a lecturer of the technical training department Hennadii Siedyi, conducted a binary lesson with junior commanders of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3.
The cadets and staff of the Firearms Training Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the city's Veteran's Space shooting tournament dedicated to combatants and the memory of those who died from Russian aggression against Ukraine. The event was attended by volunteers and representatives of the NGOs "Care" and "Veteran's Space" from Kamianets-Podilskyi.

April 26 is the day of remembrance of the largest man-made disaster in the history of mankind, a reminder of the heroic feat of the liquidators of Chornobyl accident, who were the first to enter into an unequal battle. On the occasion of the International Chornobyl Remembrance Day, requiem meetings were held at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Viktor Yasko, a lecturer at the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3, Candidate of Military Sciences, Associate Professor, together with specialists from the Center for Aerospace Research of the Earth, Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, took part in conducting comprehensive field research on the use of UAVs for humanitarian demining of the territory of Ukraine.
Inspector of the Domestic Violence Sector of the Community Relations Department of the District Police Department of Vinnytsia Oblast National Police, Senior Police Lieutenant Daniil Zinchenko, together with Natalia Hridina, a senior lecturer at the Department of Police and Public Administration of the Faculty №3, conducted a binary class for cadets of Faculties № 2 and № 3.
On the day of the 38th anniversary of Chornobyl nuclear power plant accident, cadets, students and employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs at all locations of the higher education institution - in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy and Poltava regions - honored the memory of the victims of the largest nuclear disaster that claimed the lives of thousands of people and caused irreparable damage to the environment.
For the purpose of military and patriotic education, popularization and promotion of sports among higher education students, development of physical and moral qualities of future employees of the National Police of Ukraine, a joint training of the national team of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine in hand-to-hand combat and the national team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in Thai boxing, K-1, kickboxing was held on the basis of KhNUIA.
Stanislav Ivanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, held a regular meeting of the scientific club. The participants discussed topical issues related to Russia's large-scale aggression against Ukraine and changes in the international security system. Students of Faculties 2 and 3 made presentations on the causes of the Russian-Ukrainian war and its impact on the transformation of international security.
