On April 20, the world celebrates International Volunteer Appreciation Day. This is a gratitude for their courage, kindness, selflessness and sincere help to the army, people in difficulty, children, and animals.

A regular optional meeting of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held, which was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 Tykhin Shevchenko and Senior Lecturer of the same department Oleksandr Skliar. They acquainted the students with the peculiarities of conducting scientific research by cadets - members of the scientific and practical circle of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training "SHIELD".

As part of the national and patriotic education of young people, lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 Serhii Kuchynskyi and Volodymyr Yevtushok met with 4th grade students of Lyceum No. 14 in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

To enhance the practical training of higher education students majoring in Psychology, Oleksandra Ponomarenko, a psychologist of the Psychological Support Department of Vinnytsia Oblast Police, and Pavlo Chervonyi, an associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3, conducted a practical binary lesson on the topic "Patterns and Principles of Learning".

During a regular meeting, the employees of the Recruitment and Career Guidance Department together with representatives of the Faculties №№ 1-4, 6 told the students of all regions of Ukraine about the peculiarities of admission to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2024 by state order and at the expense of individuals and legal entities.

Roman Dmytriiev, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA, 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 3, took part in the meeting "First Steps and State Formation" of the trilogy of events on the formation of an independent Ukraine "The Path of Independence", which was held on the basis of the educational hub "Not Box" of Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University.

The University Scientific Library received new educational, reference and fiction books as a gift from the representatives of the Faculty No. 3 - Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work Hryhorii Dzhahupov, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Psychology Nataliia Miloradova and Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Psychology Viktoriia Dotsenko.

The management, employees, and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs met with the Chief of Staff of the auxiliary point of the grouping of forces and means of the "West" TRO, Colonel Valerii Kurko.

Volodymyr Mazur, Inspector of the Patrol Police Unit in Kryvyi Rih of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipro Region, Tykhin Shevchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA, and Oleksandr Skliar, Senior Lecturer of the same department, conducted a binary lesson for cadets of the Faculty № 2.

The topic of the next curatorial hour, which was held by the staff of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work for cadets of faculties №№ 1-4, was a discussion of the essence of the concept of "patriotism". Today it has not only a deep meaning, but also a motivational component.
