Representatives of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №5 together with the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics with the participation of the management of the Institute and the Preparatory Department held an online career guidance meeting with students of Zmiiv Lyceum №1 named after Z.K. Sliusarenko.

The head of the practice, Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Olena Syniavska, Professor Svitlana Popova, Associate Professors of the same department Kateryna Krut and Olena Dovhan, and specialist of the ERI №5 Yevhen Rudnev met with 2nd year students who are studying for a bachelor's degree in Law.

Lecturers of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 held a career guidance meeting with high school students of Kharkiv lyceums and acquainted them with the opportunities of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the prospects for further professional realisation.

For the 2nd year master's students of the ERI №5, a lesson on ‘Peculiarities of military and political conflict’ was conducted by Oleh Hromyko, Professor of the Department of Aviation Tactics of the Flight Faculty of Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University, and Olha Marchenko, Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI №5.

Under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Nataliia Kobylko, students Viacheslav Severyn and Vladyslav Simonenko took the online course ‘Speaking.Motives’, and Daria Romanovska took part in the online workshop ‘Academic Writing and Integrity’.

Anna Sushkova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5, completed the first module of the offline educational programme ‘Promoting Mental Health and Psychosocial Support through Dialogue Facilitation’ in Kyiv. The event is implemented by the educational centre ‘Me and My School’.

During an online meeting with academic staff and higher education students, the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language Taras Kremen called 2024 ‘the year of offensive Ukrainisation’ and outlined the tasks of the language ombudsman, focusing on the regulatory framework governing the use of the state language.

The Preparatory Department of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs provides quality knowledge for all categories of applicants with maximum use of the modern material and technical base and developed infrastructure of the higher education institution.

Kateryna Rodina, Head of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of the Public Relations Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and Petro Prydruha, an inspector of the same sector, met with freshmen of the ERI No. 5, who are studying Law, Law Enforcement, Cybersecurity and Information Protection.

A lesson was held for students of the ERI No. 5 with the participation of Olesia Arseni, Prosecutor of the Bohodukhiv District Prosecutor's Office, Candidate of Law, and Yulia Tatarkina, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology.
