An online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held on the Zoom platform. The topic of the meeting was “Preparation for the 8-th Kharkiv Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Directions of Practical Psychology and Psychotherapy” (Kharkiv City, December 16, 2020)”.
A scientific and creativity competition on financial security and financial investigations has been announced for 10-11 grades students by the Faculty № 6 (Law and Mass Communications) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The purpose of the competition is to increase financial literacy among school graduates in Ukraine, level of knowledge about the history of financial science and the revival of traditions and writing an essay as an independent creative work.
Muay Thai Boxing Championship took place in Kharkiv Region. Sportsmen from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the event. According to the results of the competition, they won the following places.
Mykhailo Shcherbakovskyi, a Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology of the Faculty No. 6, Doctor of Law, Professor took part in the discussion of the draft Law of Ukraine “On Forensic Activity” at an online meeting with the management of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The online meeting took place at Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Kharkiv Research Institute of Forensic Examinations.
The online meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology of the Faculty No. 6 took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs using Zoom video conferencing software. Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, led the work of the club.
Karyna Salaieva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 6 took part in a webinar on professional development on “Cloud services for online learning on the example of the Zoom platform”, held by the Research Institute of the Lublin Science and Technology Park and IESF the International Foundation for Scientists and Educators.
Oleksandr Kukhariev, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings at the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participated as a lecturer at a webinar on professional development for lawyers on “Tactics of client's rights protection by a lawyer with regard to cases, occurring under legal succession”.
The scientific work with students continues at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. A distance meeting of the philosophical circle took place under the guidance of Svitlana Mohilova, Associate Professor of the Department. The fundamental principles of the theory of American political and social scientist Samuel Huntington on the pattern of conflicts in the modern period were considered.
On October 25, 2020, the faculty №6 turned 24 years old. The Dean of the Faculty Oksana Brusakova awarded the employees with honorary diplomas and thanked for many years of conscientious work and exemplary performance of official duties. She wished everyone inspiration in their work and new achievements in educational activities.
